“Enterprise” …you have to plan ahead ! Some readers have told me I am too Euro centric with old table of “My Top Yachts” – so I have made a much more extensive one with US yachts on it too! Featuring great US designers like Bill Crealock, Bob Johnson, Irving Cox, and marine engineer Colonel Edwin Augustus Stevens Jr Bill Lee, George Cuthbertson & George Cassian, Bruce Farr, C. William Lapworth, Shad Turner, Dick Valdes and Maury Threien – not to mention great European designers like David Sadler, Maurice Griffiths, Judel/Vrolijk, Germán Frers, Peter Norlin and Jens Ostmann, Philippe Briand, Henry Rasmussen, Bill Dixon, Chuck Paine, Charles Nicholson, Kaj Gustaffson and of course Ron Holland the designer behind my dream yacht … the Discovery 55 – made in England! – although the Regina 43 would be a close second

…that is assuming I dont strike oil in my backgarden – in which case Meteor, Windrose of Amsterdam, Borkumriff IV or Athos would be just about affordable…. .
